I am Charlotte, CEO of Charlotte Barrett Consulting. Our company is all about helping entrepreneurs and organisations like yours monetize and build a strong online brand presence. We specialise in providing friendly and expert guidance to support our clients in achieving their goals and standing out in the digital world. Whether it’s a business just starting out or looking to take things to the next level, we're here to support.I’m so proud of the services we offer designed to help our clients achieve their goals. The first service that is tailored to supporting women in corporate positions who want to start their own digital businesses alongside their full-time jobs - we support all of the side-hustlers! We also offer corporate consultancy and personalised packages that enable companies to establish a digital presence and navigate social media. Not stopping there, we offer brand consulting and content creation to develop innovative digital strategies and support marketing campaigns using user-generated content.Giving back is an important part of what we do. By working with universities we can support students with their business ideas.

I strongly believe in the importance of giving back. That's why we actively collaborate with universities to provide valuable support to students and their business ideas. By partnering with universities, we can create a nurturing environment for aspiring entrepreneurs, fostering their growth and helping them bring their innovative ideas to life.

We understand that starting a business can be challenging, especially for students who are just beginning their entrepreneurial career. That's why we are dedicated to providing guidance and support at every step of the way.

3. One tip to other business owners who might be just starting out

Get crystal clear on your offer and identify your target audience. In my experience it’s critical to get this right so you can bring in cash flow as soon as possible. I get it - as an entrepreneur, perfectionism can be tempting, but I encourage you to embrace the fact that mistakes and failure are natural parts of the learning process. In fact, reframing failure can help you reach your goals even faster! The more courageous action you take, the more valuable knowledge and feedback you'll gain. So, if you ever feel like you're stuck in a rabbit hole or being distracted by the next big thing, don't hesitate to take a step back and get clear on what you are trying to achieve.

4. What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced and how did you overcome it?

I've been in the entrepreneurship game for quite a while now and started my own restaurant when I was just 21 years old. Let me tell you, I've faced my fair share of challenges over the years. As entrepreneurs, problem-solving is in our blood and we need to tackle obstacles every single day. The challenges may become more complex, but our determination remains strong.

I vividly remember the time when another restaurant opened up right next door, offering the exact same food. It could have been a disaster, but I found a way to overcome it. The key was to remember my uniqueness and what sets me apart from the competition. I honed in on that and focused on delivering excellence. This approach has always served me well, not only in that situation but also in the crowded online marketplace.

In a world full of noise and competition, it's crucial to know what makes you special and to double down on those qualities. By focusing on excellence, I've been able to retain lifelong, repeat customers who appreciate the value I bring.
