We’d seen it firsthand — businesses being denied claims because they didn’t have the right cover. Entrepreneurs, freelancers, and microbusinesses left vulnerable because insurance just wasn’t built for them. It was either too complicated, too rigid, or simply didn’t fit the reality of modern business life.
So we decided to change that.
We created Lukango to flip the model, to make insurance work for the smallest businesses, not against them. To strip away the jargon, guesswork, and cookie-cutter policies. And instead, build something simple, fair, and flexible — that grows with you, and protects the dreams you're building.

As a woman of colour in a predominantly male industry, she recognised the need for more representation and inclusivity. This realisation fueled her passion to establish Lukango, aiming to provide equitable insurance solutions for all .
